UKnetrunner - reminders when entering races as a UKnetrunner club member.

 Sun Sep 16 2007, 07:12pm, Disabled

I see from the website that a number of Uknetrunner members are competing in the same races and possibly entering a team or at least being eligible for a team prize. Remember in most cases it only takes 3 to count and in some cases the 3rd member only needs to finish as was the case for my first claim women's team when we won a county medal last month. Read more

 Thu Sep 13 2007, 06:00pm, Disabled

Watch out for the rare, but ever increasing sight, of a UKnetrunner team entry at the Mablethorpe Marathon on Sunday 16th September.

Good luck all - we look forward to hearing how the team gets on!

Sunday 16th September will be a busy day with 4 UKnetrunners in action at the Robin Hood "Festival of Running" (Half Marathon) with new name and amended course. Read more

UKnetrunner Member Numbers on the Up!

 Mon Jul 02 2007, 09:08pm, Disabled

We have recently seen great increase in membership with 6 new members joining in June from all parts of the UK.

Welcome to UKnetrunner, hope you all enjoy a long and active membership of UKnetrunner!

I'd also take this opportunity to ask all UKnetrunners to remember to use the forum - it's free to use and an excellent way to exchange views on a variet of running related issues, but it is getting a bit quieter recently - as it tends to at this time of year. Read more

Edinburgh Marathon 2007

 Wed May 30 2007, 08:31pm, Disabled

Sunday 27th May saw the 5th running of the fantastic Edinburgh Marathon - and the first run over the new improved course.

The weather was typically Scottish with the rain lashing down at the start and strong winds blowing in on the coastal section but the nice cool temperature was ideal for Marathon Running and a superbly organised event was enjoyed by a good size field - some running the full Marathon and others running the Hairy Haggis Relay. Read more

The Shakespeare marathon and half saw plenty of UKnetrunner representation, with David Robertson and Keiron Carvell running the half, and Alex Wright running the full marathon.

Results are coming in slowly as the race website has crashed, but at the moment, we know the following. Read more
