September Round-up

 Mon Oct 12 2009, 08:39pm, 0 comments
The big focus for September was the Round Norfolk Relay. The club was well represented by a team of 17 runners and a number of helpers / supporters. We completed the 193 mile route in a little over 25 hours, improving on last year's performance by 4.5 hours. A full report is below and a number of club members have also posted their reports of the weekend on the club forum.

Following on from RNR, UKnetrunner has agreed to help the Norfolk clubs out with some of the organisation of the event by manning the stage 2/3 changeover point. This is great news for the club as we are able to give something back to an event that has been greeted with tremendous enthusiasm by club members in the past two years. In addition, Stephen Price has been commended in the photography competition with his picture of David Kindred sprinting down the finish straight.
