Claire Hesketh and Mike Jarman.............soon to be Mr and Mrs Jarman!
Mike Jarman and Claire Hesketh became Mr and Mrs Jarman on Saturday 16th August!
We thought it would be a good idea to put them under the spotlight before the big day so we asked them a few questions about their passion for running and for each other!

Endure 24 is a 24 hour race, held in Berkshire, near Reading, over a mostly off-road, but gentle, 5 mile lap. The race started at noon on Saturday 28th June and was open to solo runners, pairs, teams of 3-5 and teams of 6-8. Read more
There were 23 of you getting your parkrun fix this week bringing the total to 37 runners as we pass the half way mark for the June handicap.
While we may not quite have had the heat and humidity of Manaus it was a bit of a warm one in most parts of the country, despite this 3 new 5k PBs were set by Simon Hibbert, Paul Wallace & Kevin Baker. Read more
The second week of the parkrun handicap saw another good turn-out of UKnetrunners with 25 doing their weekly 5K, with 34 different runners competing over the 2 weeks so far.
Recent joiner Paul Wallace bettered his almost year old PB to storm to the head of the handicap leader board. Read more
The first week of the parkrun competition saw 28 of us completing the 5k time-trial at 22 different locations across the country.
In the main category Akgun Ozsoy produced a 30second PB performance to lead the field followed closely by Ricahrd Harris & Samantha Blease. Read more

In case you missed it, the London Marathon took place on Sunday in glorious spring sunshine. As the runners assembled at Greenwich the sun could already be felt warming the crisp cool morning. Read more
Spring has sprung, the sun has shone even the rain has stopped on occasions and best of all UKnetrunners have been out racing. Between us, 62 runners and 171 races, we have recorded over 1,250 miles racing – OK, some of those were officially ‘time trials’ but we really know different. Read more
