Grand East Anglian Run 10km (King's Lynn)

 Tue May 05 2009, 01:00am, 2 comments
An entry of 1800 ensured a great atmosphere in the Tuesday Market Place as this fast and flat 10km got underway on a sunny Sunday morning. All looked set for potentially quick times and PB's although the occasional gust of coastal breeze coming in off the River Ouse did suggest some sections of the winding course may offer a headwind!

It was good to meet and chat to fellow UKnetrunners Ian and Colin before the start as it was to see Ron Hill lining up at the start. Read more

Edwinstowe Christmas 10km Trail Race

 Mon Dec 08 2008, 04:19pm, 0 comments
This was a return to competitive running for me having been sidelined since July with an achilles injury and a knee injury. (Never do anything by halves!)) Plenty of rest and swimming have ensured both have cleared up and I did an Aquathlon in November (400m swim followed by a 5km run) as part of my return to full fitness. Read more

TROTs St Clears 10K

I was on holiday in South Wales and saw this race in Runner's World and decided to give it a go. I would normally do a bit of research on races beforehand but being in the middle of nowhere and no access to the web this was just pot luck as to what the race would be like. Read more
