I'm pleased to advise members that the latest delivery of club vests has arrived today (30th March) - so members awaiting vests will receive theirs over the next few days. Unfortunately, due to a rush of new members, the stock of XL Gents vests that I have been delivered will all be needed - so I will need to place a further order with the manufacturer to fulfil all requirements. Read more

Affiliation Changes

UKnetrunner has been affiliated to UKAthletics through Midland Counties Athletic Association since UKnetrunner was formed back in 2003. However, due to changes with Regional bodies, this cannot continue beyond 31st March 2007. Read more

Wilm ...... slow for some of us!

A great day for running in Wilmslow today with the usual impressive field of runners setting out to cover the half marathon distance around the glorious country roads. Alan Lacey & Bill Preston ran the first 6 miles together (Bill sporting a new way of wearng the club vest!) - at a pleasant pace of just under 9 minute/mile - pleasant for both who were returning from recent injuries. Read more

In atrocious running conditions, plenty of club members were out having fun.

Michelle Day, Lee Jackson and Martyn Thorpe were running round Silverstone (appropriate on the first day of the grand prix season), for a very windy half marathon. Read more

A belated news story of a 10 Mile Cross Country track run - completed by Peter Perren - the "Rough & Tumble".
