Pete Stockdale became the second member of his household to win one of the UKnetrunner handicap events with an impressive 1:00:59 on a tough course at the Guy Fawkes 10.

Whilst competition for second place was hotly contested between Andrew Smith, Bill Preston and Dave Smedley, Pete stole the show with a net time 10 minutes quicker than second placed Andrew.

Full results of the handicap can be found below:

Well done to all our runners, and congratulations to Pete (get writing that acceptance speech for the AGM...)

In our most northerly handicap event of the year, most of our club's runners came from the East Midlands, with only one runner native to the area. If you'd like to have a say on what races we use for handicap events, please pop along to the forum or e-mail @
