After a quiet start to the year UKNR burst into life in March with plenty of racing and a handful of PBs. And with marathon season fast approaching March was a month for longer races with a number of UKnetrunners racing over 20 miles and 4 clubbies taking part in the Kilomathon. Read more

February continued in the same way as 2010 started for UKnetrunner - quiet - with only a handful of members racing. A number of members have turned their attentions to Ultras over the past year and last month saw Matt Dunn doing his first 2 day ultra and Nick Dunk battling through a 50 mile ultra. Read more

2010 has started relatively quietly for UKnetrunner. The obvious highlight was the Not The Roman IX 12k, where Pearce Phillips, Jon Hullis and Pete Stockdale scooped the men's team 3rd place award. Read more

A total of 18 UKnetrunners completed the Not the Roman IX 12k. They were joined in support by a crew of injured club members who were happy to be part of this event even thought they were unable to run. Read more

UKnetrunner will once again be taking over Stratford - although injuries and lack of training due to severe bad weather has caused some members (including myself) to be unable to take part, and others to be participating rather than racing. Read more

The deed is done!

2 Marathon places have been received from the Virgin London Marathon organisers (if we get back up above 100 members we will get 1 more place next year!)

10 UKnetrunners were in the draw for the places (carried out using Random draw generator "The Hat" (as used in previous years) with Bren & my son Pearce witnessing the draw (feels like the National Lottery!).
